Cashew Chicken with Broccoli


I am here to share a simple recipe called Cashew Chicken with Broccoli which is simple to cook and healthy. Before i started i just want to share my experience on how i learn to cook. People say that the way of a mans heart is through his stomach. When im still Single I really don't pay attention of this "saying"  till i got married. When I'm still in collage i really don't know how to cook even just to cook a rice, it's an ashamed right? i know that. Because in our house there is one who is cooking for us.

 When i got already married my husband told me that i should learn how to cook that is when i realize that its time for me to to learn. I started by looking at you tube channel how to cook different dish, i remember i started to cook an ''adobong manok" which is a popular dish in the Philippines by looking the procedures online. After my 1st attempt to cook an adobo i realize that it's not that hard to cook when you have all the ingredients needed actually i enjoy chopping lol its funny i know but i really enjoy it. So every time i want to cook something i'll just browse till i learn every dish without browsing.

 I am not an expert but i proudly say that i know how to cook different dish and the Taste i think it's quite delicious according to my hubby of course haha. So girls out there that doesn't t know how to cook it's not that hard as you imagine  i know that and i can feel you. Practice makes you Perfect right? :) So thanks for listening Let's get Started.


Ingredients.
  • 1 lb boneless breast chicken , cut into thin slices.
  • 1 raw egg , beaten already
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 piece onion , slice
  • 1/2 red or green bell pepper , cut into stripes
  • Broccoli , cut into piece.                                                                                                                     
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine ( if you don't have rice wine like i do , i use red wine and it works! :))  
  • 1/2 cashew nuts roasted
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil                                                                                                                            

Procedures.

1. Cooking Procedure
2 .Beat the egg and pour-over the chicken then mix well until properly distributed
Heat the pan and pour the cooking oil
3. Dip the chicken (coated with egg) in corn starch and stir fry until the color of the chicken turns golden brown. Set aside
4. In the same pan, add some cooking oil and allow to heat-up
Stir-fry the onion, red bell pepper, and broccoli
Add the cooking rice wine, soy sauce, and then allow to cook for a few minutes
Add the stir-fried chicken and cook for 2 minutes while mixing with the rest of the ingredients
Add the cashew nuts,salt, and ground black pepper
